Applying a Rune
Hey All,
When a rune says 50% Increase damage or what ever it would say, people have told me it's a permanent effect. What I don't know is when a rune then says -75% Health How long does that effect last for? It couldnt be permanent could it? One other question How apart from Runes do you improve your energy storage and amount? cheers, Roland Des Chain |

yes it is permanent.
Because the rune gives you such a bonus, they cant do it without a penalty or it would be imbalanced If if were without the penalty you could equip youreself with 4 superior runes without any down side Do that now and youll lose over 100 health wich you dont realy want |

You mean -50Hp and -75Hp? No they aren't permanent in the sense that when you take your armour off, you get back your lost hp. Only primary Elementalists get Energy Storage and that's one way to get energy. Another is by buying armour which gives extra energy.

Let me explain runes for you.
Runes can be permanently applied to any of your 5 armor pieces. You can only use runes of your primary profession, or Runes of Vigor. Minor runes add +1 to an attribute, Majors add +2, but -50 health, and Superiors add +3, but -75 health. Minor Vigors add +30 health, Majors +40, and Superiors +50. You can only use one rune of each type. If you use an expert salvage kit on a piece of armor with a rune in it, then the armor will be destroyed, but you will usually get your rune back. |
